Cooking Class

Plant-Based Cooking Class

Are you transitioning to a plant-based diet, but do not know what to cook?  Are you vegan and looking to adopt a healthier diet?  Do you need some ideas for quick and easy meals to prepare that are both healthy and delicious?  If you answered yes to any of the above, then this class is for you!


Class will be held in our state-of-the-art vegan commercial kitchen at The Vegan Center.


Participants will get to sample the dish and will receive a copy of the recipe.

Instructor Marcy Zastrow has been following a plant-based diet since childhood.  She is the owner of three small businesses, is a Certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator (VLCE) and holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through e-Cornell.

Veganuary - Exploring Plant-Based Diets and a Vegan Lifestyle

Make the resolution to take control of your health! In this 6-part series, we will explore what it means to follow a vegan lifestyle and learn how to live this healthy, compassionate lifestyle. Each week we will explore a different topic in depth. Each session will include approximately one hour of lecture followed by about one-half hour of hands-on/interactive experience.

You are highly encouraged to sign up for the full 6-week series. However, you may also sign up for individual sessions as your schedule allows.

2/11/23 Maintaining a Vegan Lifestyle - includes Q&A, class choice!

Location: The Vegan Center, 60 Broad Street, City of Tonawanda
