Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio Kickboxing - All levels

We now offer Cardio Kickboxing classes every Monday evening from 6:30-7:15 and every Friday afternoon from 4:30-5:15. No equipment needed. Bring a water bottle. Class can be adapted to suit your fitness level.


Pay at the door. Please arrive 5-10 minutes to register and pay. Please enter from the front door on Broad Street. On Mondays, door will be locked promptly at 6:30.

Date and Time: Every Monday from 6:30-7:15 pm and every Friday from 4:30-5:15 pm.

Member Cost:  $5.00 

Non-Member Cost:  $8.00

Instructor Marcy Zastrow has been doing aerobics her entire adult life. She has been following a plant-based diet since childhood.  She is the owner of two small businesses, is a Certified Vegan Lifestyle Coach and Educator (VLCE) and holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition through e-Cornell.  She has been a community education instructor for three years.

WHAT: 4-WEEK SERIES TRANSITIONING TO A PLANT-BASED LIFESTYLE 

WHEN: THURSDAYS 5/1, 5/8, 5/15 and 5/22/25.

TIME: 6:30-8:00 (IN-PERSON)

WHERE: Kenmore Junior Senior High School, 155 Delaware Road, Kenmore

WHY: Take control of your health! Learn the benefits of living plant-based! Get the support you need to transition to and maintain a plant-based lifestyle.

DETAILS:  This 4-part series will include plant-based nutrition, cooking tips, shopping tips, reading food labels, meal planning, and transitioning to plant-based lifestyle. By the end of the series, students will feel empowered to take control of their health through healthy eating. This class is for everyone, regardless of which stage you are in on your plant-based journey. Participants will receive handouts and other materials each week to assist them with their transition to a plant-based lifestyle. 

WHO: ANYONE! This class is for everyone, regardless of which stage you are in on your plant-based transition. If you are already vegan, but want to clean up your diet, this class is for you. If you are "veg curious", this class is for you. If you are just starting your transition to plant-based living, this class is for you. If you need support sticking with your plant-based diet, this class is for you. If you just want to improve your health and do not know where to start, this class is for you. While there are general concepts that will be explored, this class will be catered to fit the needs of the students.

Plant-Based Cooking Classes

Plant-Based Classes

Learn how to make a plant-based dish. It is easy to cook plant-based when you know a few basic things. In this course, we will experiment with beans, grains, vegetables, tempeh, herbs and spices, and more! Students will get to sample the dish and will receive a copy of the recipe. We will also discuss plant-based nutrition, cooking with herbs and spices, vegan substitutes, and more.


Pre-registration is REQUIRED.
