Are you transitioning to a plant-based diet, but do not know what to cook? Are you vegan and looking to adopt a healthier diet? Do you need some ideas for quick and easy meals to prepare that are both healthy and delicious? If you answered yes to any of the above, then this class is for you!
Classes will be held in our state-of-the-art vegan commercial kitchen at The Vegan Center.
Participants will get to sample the dish and will receive a copy of the recipe.
We will be making Faux Chicken Salad on 8/2.
We will be making Cucumber Lentil Salad on 8/10.

WHAT: 4-WEEK SERIES TRANSITIONING TO A PLANT-BASED LIFESTYLE
WHEN: NEW COURSE BEING OFFERED IN THE FALL. DATES TBD.
WHERE: The Vegan Center, 60 Broad Street, Tonawanda
WHY: Take control of your health! Learn the benefits of living plant-based! Get the support you need to transition to and maintain a plant-based lifestyle.
DETAILS: This 4-part series will include plant-based nutrition, cooking, shopping, reading food labels, and meal planning. Each week we will focus on a different aspect of plant-based living. Some classes will include a cooking demo. By the end of the series, you will have the tools you need to maintain a plant-based lifestyle. This is not a lecture-style class. Instead, we will cater instruction to meet the needs of the students.
WHO: ANYONE! This class is for everyone, regardless of which stage you are in on your plant-based transition. If you are already vegan, but want to clean up your diet, this class is for you. If you are "veg curious", this class is for you. If you are just starting your transition to plant-based living, this class is for you. If you need support sticking with your plant-based diet, this class is for you. If you just want to improve your health and do not know where to start, this class is for you. While there are general concepts that will be explored, this class will be catered to fit the needs of the students.
