The Vegan Center is an Event and Wellness Center, as well as a vegan community center. While all are welcome, all events are vegan-friendly, making the Center a safe place for the vegan community.
The Vegan Center includes event space, a conference room, offices, a resource library, and an exclusively vegan commercial kitchen. Our current tenants include Asian Beauty Spa, Buffalo's V-Spot Pizzeria, Soul Renewal Healings, Ouroboros Hot Sauce, and Project Vegan 716.
Project Vegan 716 hosts many activities and classes. They organize vendor markets and other vendor events. They work with not-for-profit organizations to hold fundraisers at the Center. They hold a variety of classes on plant-based nutrition, plant-based cooking, and small business development. They also organize social events, such as ice cream socials, vegan trivia nights, cook-offs, and parties.
Members of The Vegan Center enjoy many benefits, including discounted ticket prices, borrowing privileges to the resource library, and discounted rental rates. You do not need to be a member to participate in events at The Vegan Center, but we sure would like you to join us!

On September 16, 2019, Project Vegan 716, LLC was formed to further the work done by The Vegan Educator.
On October 31, 2020 The Vegan Center opened its doors for its first indoor event, a Halloween Trick or Treat event and Vendor Market.
On November 27, 2020 The Vegan Center Gift and Consignment Shop opens its doors!
On December 17 2020, City of Tonawanda Mayor Rick Scott performed a ribbon cutting ceremony at The Vegan Center.
On October 28, 2021, we kicked off our one-year anniversary celebration with a ribbon cutting ceremony with The Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas.
On April 1, 2023, we welcomed our newest tenant, Beautiful Chaos Salon and Boutique! They have rented our storefront. They moved out on March 31, 2024.
Asian Beauty Spa started to rent the front offices on April 1, 2024. They provide facials, eyebrow threading, and more.
Our Resource Center has moved to the back of The Vegan Center! Members have full access to our collection of over 230 books! Free literature available to all. New: jigsaw puzzle table!
Our Little Shoppe of Vintage has taken over the large conference room! Featuring items from The Silver Lining for Pit Bulls, proceeds from all items with a "TSL" label support the great work this vegan-run dog rescue does! Shop hours are 11-3 on Saturdays and by appointment.
